I was born and raised in a loving Christian home in Monterrey, Mexico, and became a US Citizen in Dallas, Texas in 2008.
I came to the United States to attend the University of the Ozarks in 1995. After graduating from U of O with undergraduate degrees in Marketing and Management, I completed a master’s degree in Information Science at Arkansas Tech University where I met my wonderful wife, Rachael, who is an elementary music teacher for Dwight and London schools.
I have three terrific children. Luke is a senior at Russellville High School, Micah is a sophomore at RHS, and Ella is an 8th grader at Russellville Junior High School. We attend Covenant Presbyterian Church.
We are proud members of the Russellville community! I have worked in banking for more than 15 years in different states including Texas, California, Illinois, New York, and Arkansas, all of which have exposed me to diverse people and perspectives. I currently work for Bank OZK as Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending.
I have always been passionate about community involvement.
As a Rotarian, I believe in Service Above Self- including serving the community we call home. I have a heart for helping people and participating as a city council member provides a plethora of opportunities to do just that.
My background in business and finance qualifies me to help decide which services will be provided and the most efficient way to pay for them as a city.
If elected, my focus will always be on helping all private and public academic institutions in our town, supporting local organizations, small businesses, and corporate businesses, and continuing partnerships with our neighboring cities, county, and the state of Arkansas.
